Ticker Requirements and Installation

There will soon be a new feature of Capital Flow 32 - a ticker application that runs alongside Capital Flow. Below are requirements of the application, and instructions on how to install them.

The Ticker application is not yet finished, but will appear in the Capital Flow version available from this web site, and from the updated version available by using the "Get Latest Version" function in the Capital Flow File menu. If you wish to prepare for this event, follow the instructions below.

The ticker is a new .NET application and requires the .NET Framework version 1.1. The dot net framework can be installed from the link below, but it is recommended that you visit the Microsoft Windows Update site to update your computer with the latest patches for security before doing this. The .NET Framework can also be downloaded directly from the Windows Update site.

Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2000, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP

Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 requires Service Pack 6a.

Important: Make sure you have the latest service pack and critical updates for the version of Windows that you are running. To find recent security updates, visit Windows Update.

You must also be running Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 or later for all installations of the .NET Framework.

Instructions

Click the Download link to start the download, or choose a different language from the drop-down list and click Go.
Do one of the following:
- To start the installation immediately, click Open or Run this program from its current location.
- To copy the download to your computer for installation at a later time, click Save or Save this program to disk.
